    Leading BIG 4 Firm requires a Senior Manager to work in their Financial Services division.

    As a Senior Audit Manager you will:

    Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the performance of audit procedures, with a particular focus on complex and specialised issues.

    Understand the clients industry and recognition of the key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.

    Plan the engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards and appropriately address risk. Preparation and / or review of management letters, audit project proposals, budgets, fee / billing negotiations and recovery, and contract terms. Participate in fee negotiations.

    Final technical review and approving for the partner's signature all financial statements, opinions and reports and other deliverable documents for clients.

    Roles / Responsibilities:

    Develop the team by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Delegate work effectively. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/ training. Develop technical expertise - both functional & industry.

    Maintain relationships with other engagement teams and monitor engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when required.

    Organise and lead the provision of audit related and other assurance services to audit and non audit clients, including leading the design and delivery of proposal documents

    Generate new business opportunities. Understand the firm and its service lines and actively assess / present ways to apply knowledge and services. Develop long term relationships and networks both internally and externally.

    Skills / Experience:

    Candidates for Senior Manager roles must have a proven track record of outstanding performance and display a high level of people and business skills. They will also be expected to have shown an on-going commitment to their personal and professional development through continuing education and development. Candidates should be:

    * Qualified Accountant
    * 6+ years relevant experience
    * Proven track record with developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Strong audit experience gained in practice
    * A dedication to teamwork and leadership
    * Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & US GAAP preferable but not required
    * Proven track record in leading the design and delivery of proposal document and business development
    * Strong verbal and written communications skills

    'Big 4' background preferable but not required


    Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 Per Annum
