    Our client has a well established team of Scientists, Engineers and Consultants in a number of their offices within the UK and they are looking for a Senior or Principal Consultant to enhance their expanding Division. Joining this firm will ensure an exciting and rewarding career within a well established and growing company offering the scope for career progression.

    Responsibilities:

    · Involvement and co-ordination of nuclear, safety and risk assessment work with the group

    · Providing technical leadership and support within this growing division

    · The division offers full support to nuclear facilities including the decommissioning of redundant facilities and the management of radioactive waste

    · Safety and Risk management services includes site licensing, preparation of safety documentation and risk analysis

    · Undertaking a wide variety of projects and overseeing the operation in this regard

    · Taking responsibility for your own work and supporting the development of junior staff members

    · Liaising with clients within this sector and the potential for involvment in business development

    · This position will be instrumental in the success and expansion of the nuclear division and there is huge scope for this position both in the UK and internationally within this organisation.

    Requirements:

    · Honours and/or Masters Degree in a relevant subject

    · You will possess broad experience within the nuclear sector

    · Ideally 10 - 15 years+ relevant experience would be ideal.

    · Good knowledge of UK and European legislation.

    · A broad technical understanding of nuclear safety and risk assessment

    · Experience in management is ideal with strong leadership qualities

    · Government security clearance will be essential for this post
